Three minutes from the Museum of Human Evolution

The Museum of Human Evolution, home to the Atapuerca finds, is 250 metres from the front door: three minutes on foot. The archaeological sites in the Sierra de Atapuerca are about 22 minutes away by car.

Visiting the Atapuerca sites

The Atapuerca archaeological sites are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and can only be visited with a guide. Book well ahead, especially in summer.

Tours leave by bus from the Site Access Centre (CAYAC) in Ibeas de Juarros, about 16 km from the apartment: some 22 minutes by car. When you book, they confirm where your tour departs from. Opening times, prices and bookings are on the official websites of the Museum of Human Evolution and the Atapuerca Foundation.

What you have at home

A kitchen equipped for dinner in (ceramic hob, oven, microwave and a Nespresso machine), a table for four, a washing machine and a supermarket on the corner across the road, open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 22:00. It sleeps four: two in the 150 cm queen bed and two on the living-room sofa bed.
